Drs. Dionne Skeete and Muneera Kapadia were honored with Clinical Awards at the UI Physicians (UIP) Clinical Awards ceremony held Oct. 21, 2019.

Dr. Skeete, Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Division of Acute Care Surgery, received the Excellence in Our Workplace Award.

Dr. Kapadia, Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Gastrointestinal, Minimally-invasive and Bariatric Surgery, received the Innovations in Clinical Care Award.

The UI Physicians is the largest multi-specialty medical and surgical group practice in Iowa. The UIP Clinical Awards were established by the UIP in 2011 to honor clinical excellence among its members, and are awarded annually in six categories.
