Dr. Ruth Chimenti, a postdoc in Dr. Kathleen Sluka's Neurobiology of Pain Laboratory, was awarded a $15,000 collaborative research grant from the International Association for the Study of Pain to work with Dr. Sluka and Dr. Lorimer Mosely (Australia) to examine a novel pain education approach as an addition to exercise for those with chronic Achilles Tendinopathy.  The title of the project is "Mechanism-based treatment approach to chronic tendinopathy"
