Dawn E. Quelle, PhD, Professor in the Departments of Neuroscience & Pharmacology and Pathology, has been awarded a 5-year $3.7 million National Institutes of Health / National Cancer Institute (NIH/NCI) R01 Research Grant entitled “Role of RABL6A-PP2A in neuroendocrine tumors.” This goal of this project, a multi-PI study involving a subcontract with Co-PI Dr. Goutham Narla at the University of Michigan, is to investigate the functional role and potential for therapeutic targeting of the RABL6A-PP2A pathway in metastatic pancreatic and lung neuroendocrine tumors.
