This service provides the capability to record (capture) what happens in classrooms, conference rooms, and office computers and make it available digitally. Examples are lectures, meetings and conferences. Captures in their simplest form are audio recordings, however, the capability exists to capture audio, along with a presentation and a video where available.

Processed captures can be made available for viewing in many different ways; a Web site, secure Web site such as ICON, podcast, video podcast and iTunes U.

Availability

The UI Capture service is available for use by all faculty, staff and students within University of Iowa Health Care. Training and support is provided Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. After hours and weekend captures may be remotely or scheduled in advance.
