Juan Rodriguez, a Cell and Developmental Biology Student in the Yang Lab will present a seminar titled "Regulation of IDE-mediated Hepatic Insulin Clearance by Nitrosative Stress."

Tate Neff, a Cell and Developmental Biology Graduate Student in the Yang Lab will present a seminar titled "Regulation and Expression of an Insulin Secretion-Enhancing Micropeptide in Diabetes Mellitus." Fan Shao, a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Cao Lab will present a seminar titled "Transcriptional Programs of Pitx2 and Tfap2a/Tfap2b Controlling Lineage Specification of Mandibular Epithelium During Tooth Initiation."

Zhijian "James" Chen, PhD, will present a lecture on May 16, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. Dr. Chen is a Professor of Molecular Biology and in the Center for the Genetics of Host Defense at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He is also a George L. MacGregor Distinguished Chair in Biomedical Science Director, Inflammation Research Center, and an Investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Dr. Matthew Kennedy, a Professor of Pharmacology from the University of Colorado's School of Medicine, will present a seminar titled "New Approaches for Investigating and Manipulating the Molecular Organization of Neuronal Synapses."
