Dr. Ryan Mahling, a Biochemistry PhD student mentored by Dr. Madeline Shea, received his PhD on November 3, 2020. His thesis was entitled, "Recognition of NaV1.2 by Calmodulin and Fibroblast Growth Factor Homologous Factors." Dr. Mahling plans to join the lab of Manu Ben-Johny at Columbia University. 

Dr. William Hacker, a Biochemistry PhD student mentored by Dr. Adrian Elcock, received his PhD on November 20, 2020. His thesis was entitled, "Computational modeling of the Escherichia coli chromosome and integrated simulations of bacterial transcription and translation." Dr. Hacker plans to continue as a Post-Doc in the Elcock lab.
