UI Diagnostic Laboratories (UIDL) is a leading anatomic and clinical pathology reference laboratory affiliated with the
prestigious University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Department of Pathology, performing over 2.5 million tests per year.

clinical specialties ranked among the best.

Our collaborative and comprehensive academic approach to laboratory medicine ensures timely, accurate, high-quality
diagnostic interpretations, and advanced unique testing with cases often reviewed by 3-4 pathologists.

The UIDL is honored to serve local, regional, and national hospitals, children’s hospitals nationwide, laboratories,
physician clinics, government and research facilities.

The UIDL team is comprised of over 25 academic board-certified pathologists with subspecialty training and expertise,
and over 600 experienced and highly-skilled scientific and administrative staff working together daily to deliver the highest
quality services to our clients and their patients.
