Three staff members of the Department of Surgery participated in and recently graduated from the UI Health Care Executive Leadership Academy. Those from the Department of Surgery were Dr. Irena Gribovskaja-Rupp, Clinical Assistant Professor, Dana Jones, Nurse Practitioner, and Becky Humpal, Nurse Practitioner. The Executive Leadership Academy is a University of Iowa Health Care program that strives to instill the characteristics and skills for its participants to lead effectively in an academic health environment such as the UIHC.
