Erdahl appointed Chair of Member Engagement Committee for the American Society of Breast Surgeons

Lillian Erdahl, MDDr. Lilian Erdahl, Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, has been appointed Chair of the Member Engagement Committee for the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS), as announced by the ASBrS on May 3rd, 2019. The American Society of Breast Surgeons is described as "the primary leadership organization for general surgeons who treat patients with breast disease". The Society has over 3000 members in the United States and over 50 countries around the world. The membership of the Member Engagement Committee and other Society committees can be viewed on the ASBrS website here

Dr. Erdahl joined the Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery of the Department of Surgery in 2014. She is also a breast surgeon at the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the Associate Program Director of the General Surgery Residency Program in the Department of Surgery.
