Case Conferences
The department holds Case Conferences every Wednesday and Thursday morning (between 7:30 am and 8:30 pm) in the department conference room. All residents (medical and physics) are required to attend.
Iowa Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology
The Department of Radiation Oncology participates and hosts or co-hosts the biannual meeting of the Iowa Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology.
Oberley Memorial Free Radical Symposium
The Free Radical and Radiation Biology Program and the Department of Radiation Oncology sponsor the Oberley Memorial Free Radical Symposium in Iowa City. Guest speakers are comprised from international and nationally recognized leaders in the field and participates include clinical and research faculty, students, scientific vendors.
