- A Reagent Support Facility supplies high quality reagents in an inexpensive, professional and efficient manner to some of the clinical and research laboratories in the Department of Pathology.
- All manner of reagents are made from buffers to stains to fixatives.
- The Reagent Lab also constructs Sweat Chloride Kits for the determination of Cystic Fibrosis.
- Yearly, the Reagent Lab also compiles the Department’s Chemical Inventory Updates and helps in the safety audits and inspections.
