Clinical Pathology Laboratories
Critical Care Laboratory Contact Information:
- This is a satellite laboratory located near the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, Burn Unit, and the Transplant Unit.
- Provides valuable point-of-care testing for these critically ill patients - 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
- A limited number of tests are done in 10 minutes or less, including, blood gases, ionized calcium, sodium, potassium, glucose, osmolality, activated clotting time, hemoglobin and hematocrit determinations.
