Involved in molecular biology aspect of collaborative projects of the clinical department such as the study of the CAG repeat-length in human androgen receptor in prostate CA, the frequency of BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 gene mutations in unselected cohorts.

Involved in mutational analysis of Fabry disease by amplifying the whole alpha-galactosidase gene in one reaction utilizing multiplex PCR and direct DNA sequencing, also haplotyping analysis of Fabry mutations by PCR-RFLP involved in gene expression by DNA subcloning.
