We presently have two ongoing research projects in the laboratory. The first involves thermal ablation of prostate cancervia heating ferromagnetic temperature self-regulating seeds by an extracorporeal radiofrequency magnetic field. These seeds are percutaneously placed into the tumor and may be heated to any given temperature by multiple treatments. The second research project involves the development and testing of various laparoscopic electrosurgical electrodes.
