Dr. Schlueter has special interests in cellular immunology and hematopoiesis in both the research and clinical labs. Specifically, her laboratory investigates the effect of chronic ethanol exposure on dendritic cell function, the effect of age on dendritic cell function in promoting graft versus host disease in both mice and humans. Additionally, she studies the nature of Langerhans cell precursors in the skin.
