Research interests involve the histopathology of neoplastic diseases and its clinical and/or epidemiologic significance
Current studies include the following:
- Urinary bladder cancer - discrepancies between registry reported data and pathologic evaluation. Identification and significance of early invasion.
- Prostate cancer - changing diagnostic trends; how clinical testing is affecting the diagnosis and incidence of prostate cancer.
- Gastrointestinal Iymphoid proliferation's, including MALT Iymphomas.
- Pathology review of lung cancer cases for the SEER radon and lung cancer study.
- Histologic separation of low grade cartilaginous tumors
