Application Information for U.S. Medical Graduates

Thank you for your interest in the training program in Pathology at The University of Iowa. If after reviewing the material on this web site, you are interested in applying, we are using the on-line Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

 

A minimum of three letters of recommendation, including one from the Dean of your Medical School, should be submitted through ERAS. It is also very helpful to include a letter of recommendation from a pathologist with whom you have worked.

For both your benefit and ours, we prefer that candidates applying for residency positions in the department have a personal interview. After we receive your completed ERAS application, we will contact you concerning an interview date. Interviews are usually conducted from November through January.
