Adult Minimum:  1 mL serum required
Absolute Minimum:  0.3 mL
Pediatric Minimum:  0.3 mL


Rejection Criteria:


Severely lipemic or hemolyzed specimens.

Phenotype               by report


Comments:


Alpha-1-Antitripysin total will also be performed.

Limitations:


Caution:  an interpretation is advised if the patient has been 
transfused within the previous 14 days.
