Reference Range:
Negative:  <100 U
Equivocal: 100-200 U
Positive: >200 U
Reference values apply to all ages.
Comments:
If testing is due to a transfusion reaction, the specimen should be 
collected approximately a minimum of 10 days after the reaction. 
Testing performed on serum collected immediately after a reaction may 
be falsely negative. Transfused IgA may deplete anti-IgA antibodies.
