Science Course Requirements
Biological Sciences
Required courses include a complete introductory course in animal biology or general zoology and at least three upper-division-level courses in biology or zoology, one of which must be animal, human, or exercise physiology.*
*Note: Lower-division, combined anatomy-physiology courses will not satisfy this requirement. However, upper-level two-semesters of a combined anatomy-physiology course will satisfy this prerequisite.

Chemical Sciences
A complete series of introductory courses in chemistry followed by upper-level courses in organic chemistry and introductory biochemistry.

- Organic Chemistry I
- Introductory/General Biochemistry*
*A survey course in organic/ biochemistry will not satisfy this requirement.
Statistical Sciences
