| Job Description: Complete Family Medicine, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team! If you are well versed in primary care, family medicine, and urgent care, you are the ideal candidate. New graduates will be considered. This position allows for a flexible schedule including a short week of three 12 hour days. Onsite housing for out of town candidate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Physician Assistant under the direction of the Physician, will be responsible for providing age specific clinical evaluations, assess problems, initiates diagnostic and treatment plans, and education patient presenting for care. Complies with all rules and regulations of the appropriate licensing board and maintains continuing medical education. The Physician Assistant will work in collaboration with other Providers. REQUIRED EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant Program. Credentials: Must have a current, active, valid and unrestricted license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Missouri and accompanying prescribing authority OR Must meet all requirements and eligible to obtain the license. Experience: 1+ years of related professional experience, preferably exposed to an urgent care setting. Willing to train the right individual. SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Nurse, Medical Assistants, and other clerical staff. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: ADA Consideration - Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally (exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, or requires sitting most of hte time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls, or requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. COMPLETE FAMILY MEDICINE, LLC was founded in 2009 and continues to grow each year with Providers and services. Currently, we have three Physicians and one Physician Assistant. We are located in Kirksville, Missouri, a rural northeast Missouri community serving our patients as a one stop location for all of their medical needs.
