IL 2016-06-01 Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner
Job Description: HeartCare Midwest is seeking an advanced practitioner (NP/PA). Prior cardiac experience strongly preferred. The advanced practitioner works in close collaboration with physicians and will be providing inpatient and outpatient general cardiology coverage. Provide care to general cardiology patients in cardiology clinic seeing between 12-18 patients a day, and heavily participate in structural heart / TAVR programs in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. This position is primarily day shift, with a mix of ambulatory clinic and some inpatient exposure, but will require flexible scheduling to accommodate evening and weekend call rotations.
