Just the TicketJust the Ticket is a travel grant program for medical students interviewing with University of Iowa-affiliated family medicine residencies.
As a medical student, you can obtain grants of up to $800 to support your travel expenses for interviewing at University of Iowa-affiliated family medicine residency programs. The more programs you visit, the larger your grant.
Who is eligible?
Senior medical students from U.S. medical schools (M.D. or D.O.) are eligible.
How do I apply?
You may apply online.
You will receive an additional form to submit at the end of your interview schedule.
Who will keep track of my visits?
Visits will be verified by each program following the interview. You need not submit receipts or proof of visits.
How much money can I get?
To see how much you qualify for, see the chart below. Monies will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
