Medical Student Humanities Interest Group

The Medical Student Humanities Interest Group coordinates student-initiated activities in the humanities. These have recently included the creation of a film series, a crafting circle, an acrylic painting session, a strings ensemble, a creative writing group, a drum circle, and a photography class. The group also coordinates the student-initiated invitation of visiting writers, musicians, and artists to the Carver College of Medicine. Recent guests have included a playwright and an Arabic dance instructor.
