About the judges:

Kate Gleeson is coauthor with Dr. Janusz Bardach of the memoirs Man is Wolf to Man: Surviving the Gulag and Surviving Freedom: After the Gulag and associate editor for the University of Iowa College of Public Health. Jan Weissmiller is the author of the poetry collection In Divided Light. She has long been on the staff of Prairie Lights Books, where she is the poetry buyer and schedules the poetry readings for "Live from Prairie Lights."
