We encourage the formation of a large variety of student interest groups.

Research Opportunities

We created the Iowa Medical Student Research Program to support, promote, and raise awareness about medical student research opportunities at the University of Iowa.

Writing Program

We offer individual consultations for students to review and improve their scholarly and professional writing. We also coordinate extracurricular activities involving music, literature, and the visual and performing arts.
