Information about the conference:
This conference will bring together over 120 graduate students who have been conducting research projects in University laboratories across many colleges and departments campuswide.
All participants will present their projects at the conference as part of their research training and professional development. The students in these UI summer research programs work directly with faculty mentors in research programs and laboratories across campus. The summer research programs help the university recruit talented students, many of whom choose to continue their work at The University of Iowa as graduate scholars.
The Graduate College offers this conference as the culmination of the summer undergraduate research experience at Iowa. Students prepare for future careers in research through this opportunity to present their findings to the Iowa research community.
