Please join us for a literary lunch hour with Katy Dion, a second year MFA candidate in the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 12:30-1:30 pm in 1185 MERF.
Katy will lead a discussion of “Goodbye, My Brother”, a short story by John Cheever. Copies of the short story are available in 1193 MERF.

Geneva Lecture Series Presents Jim Wallis:
Noted evangelical author and political activist Jim Wallis will speak in the Main Lounge of the IMU on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
Topic: "Biblical Faith and Political Values: A New Vision for America."
Wallis is the author of the best-selling book, "God's Politics: Why the Right Gets It Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get It." His columns have appeared in the New York Times and many other major newspapers, and he frequently appears on national radio and television programs such as NPR and "Meet the Press." Wallis also teaches a course at Harvard University called "Faith, Politics, and Society." Free and open to the public, and assistance for those with disabilities.
