Medical Student Research Day is a day for the CCOM community to enjoy learning about research projects conducted by medical students in the college. Medical students from all four years of study are eligible to present their research. Our next Research Day will be on Friday, September 2, 2016. Most first and second year medical school classes will be suspended for the day so all can take advantage of this opportunity. M1 and M2 students will have specific assignments related to the day's events to be completed in conjunction with one of their regular courses.
Posters of the students' research will be on display throughout the day in the Atrium. Some students will present their research results during concurrent oral presentations which begin at 8:00 AM in various classrooms throughout MERF. Our keynote speaker, Dr. John J. Callaghan, Professor of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and Biomedical Engineering, will address the students and faculty at 10:30 AM in the Prem Sahai Auditorium (1110 MERF). There will be two judging rounds for poster presentations at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM to fill out the day's events. You can view the student abstracts, program booklet, and award winners from the 2015 Research Day events by following the links below.
