Iowa Medical Student Research Club
The Medical Student Research Club aims to get medical students excited about research. We want students to know that not only Ph.D.'s do research, but M.D.'s do too. Gaining exposure to research in the early portion of medical training can help students plan their careers.
The club plans to have monthly meetings to have guest M.D. and peer presenters, journal readings and more. The Medical Student Research Club is part of the Iowa Medical Student Research Program.
Participation in the club is an excellent way to fulfill the ongoing research activities for the Research Distinction Track (RDT).
