The College of Medicine’s graduation reception will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Medical Education and Research Facility. Family and friends are invited. This menu is referred to as “heavy hors d’oeuvres". It is not a full meal. There is no charge to attend. Students are encouraged to give their family and friends a tour of the building. The class composite picture will be on display and the Match Day slides will be running on the monitors in the atrium.
The College of Medicine’s graduation ceremony will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Coralville Marriott Convention Center. The doors open at 5:30 pm. Graduates must arrive no later than 6:00 pm. No tickets are required and there is no reserved seating. Anyone with family or friends who use a wheelchair should contact Marcia Hopp in the Office of Medical Student Affairs and Curriculum to arrange specific seating, email@example.com, 319-335-8053 or 1-800-342-2978.
In addition to the Doctor of Medicine degrees, other degrees being awarded are the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medical Technology, Bachelor of Science in Radiation Sciences, and the Masters of Medical Education degrees.
