Global Medicine Society
The broad aim of the Global Medical Society is to foster sustained interest in professional activities related to international health issues, both in the United States and worldwide. More specifically, the mission of the Global Medicine Alliance is threefold:
- to develop the skills of healthcare workers, particularly those that are useful in healthcare settings outside the United States,
- to contribute to the delivery of health care in communities where availability and access to health care are limited, and
- to promote partnerships between health care professionals in the United States and foreign health care providers and the communities that they serve.
