Medical Student Appeals Committee
The Appeals Committee meets as needed to hear student appeals of the
decisions made by the Executive Associate Dean. (See the Promotions
Policies in the Medical Student Handbook.) The membership consists of
two members of the Medical Council, three faculty members from the
College’s Executive Committee, one member appointed by the Dean from
outside the Carver College of Medicine, and one student. Recommendations
from the Appeals Committee are forwarded to the Dean of the College for
ratification or amendment. This Committee does not have a website.
