The University of Iowa
History of Medicine Society

The University of Iowa History of Medicine Society is an informal group of students, faculty, staff and members of the community with an interest in the history of medicine and other health sciences. We present speakers about once a month and, in the spring, host a banquet with a presentation from a well-known historian of medicine. We have no membership dues and we welcome participants from all areas of the University of Iowa, the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and the general community.
