    Residency Program Coordinator (PCC1)  

    Residency Program Coordinator is desired for the Department of Family Medicine.  This position will provide developmental and administrative expertise for the Family Medicine postgraduate training programs:  Family Medicine Residency, Family Medicine-Psychiatry Residency.  Serve as liaison between residents and clinical rotations for the residency program at UIHC, VAMC, and off-site locations.  Counsel residents on residency policies and curriculum.  Provide support to the Residency Program Directors.  Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.

    The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Iowa is recruiting for multiple full-time, non-tenured clinical family medicine physicians. Physicians will have opportunities to practice a full-range of family medicine, including inpatient care and obstetrics and to participate in the educational mission of the department. Candidates must be available to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.

    There is an immediate opening for a Family Physician in Sigourney, Iowa. Sigourney is a vibrant community in southeastern Iowa, with a population of 2,059.  This is an opportunity to join a medical practice with one other Family Medicine physician, a Physician’s Assistant and a Nurse Practitioner.   Physicians provide 4.5 days of clinic, one out of four days and one out of four weekends of practice call.  ER coverage is shared with other community physicians   OB and OB call are not part of the practice.
