    (Research Development)

    The Department of Family Medicine is recruiting for either a one or two year full-time research development position that will lead to a certificate in Translational Science and Clinical Investigation (one year) or a Master’s in Clinical Investigation (two years). Both programs are through the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Iowa, College of Public Health. The selected candidate will spend 50% time on faculty development, including coursework and research activities to prepare for research in family medicine, and 50% time in clinical care and teaching. Opportunities exist to participate in our obstetrics/newborn or inpatient services.

    Requirements include:  

    • Education requirement: MD
    • The successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program.
    • Must have or be eligible for an Iowa medical license.
    • Board certified or Board eligible in Family Medicine.
