The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Iowa is recruiting for family physicians at the Associate, Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Associate Professor non-tenure clinical track rank to provide clinical care in the hospital-based Primary Care Clinic North (PCCN). This clinic serves the needs of adult Iowans who qualify for the IowaCare Health Program. Physicians will work 9 half-day clinic sessions per week in a modern and patient friendly environment, and will be supported by nursing staff, business office staff, as well as pharmacy and social worker staff. Faculty physicians will participate in the education mission of the Carver College of Medicine through clinical teaching within the PCCN.
The Department of Family Medicine is recruiting for full-time, non-tenure track, Family Medicine physicians at the rank of Associate, Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor. In these positions, physicians will work 9 half day clinic sessions in the Southeast Iowa City Clinic sponsored by UI Healthcare. Physicians have opportunities to practice a full-range of family medicine, including inpatient care and obstetrics and to participate in the educational mission of the department.
Salary and rank are dependent upon experience.
Requirements include:
- Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa
- Clinically active
