Research Summary

My laboratory studies the cellular and genetic mechanisms that are involved in glaucoma. Toward this end we have developed a variety of techniques that can be used to evaluate ocular phenotypes in animal models of the disease and have developed extensive expertise in the analysis of genetic data. While the majority of our work is carried out either human samples or rodent models we have developed substantial experience working with both cat and dog models of glaucoma.
