Research Summary

Basic Science interests: 1) The genetic and developmental biology aspects underlying kidney formation, 2) Congenital and Genetic urogenital abnormalities - more specifically Bilateral/Unilateral renal agenesis (Potter's Syndrome) and congenital progressive hydronephrosis. Translational/Collaborative Interests: Transplantation and Renal biobanks, Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis (MPGN) and atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome Clinical Interests: member of the Prospective Pediatric Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy Registry, NAPRTCS, Chronic Kidney Disease, Acute Dialysis Quality Initiative (ADQI) and Acute Kidney Injury Network (AKIN).
