Research Summary

Dr. Weinstein’s research over the last 40 years has been focused on the natural history and long-term outcomes of pediatric orthopedic conditions, primarily spinal deformities and hip disorders. This research has established the evidence base for the treatment of children with these conditions around the world. Much of this research has been funded by the National Institute of Health and The Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation and has resulted in over 220 publications in such journals as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of the American Medical Association and The Lancet and two Kappa Delta/OREF awards for Outstanding Orthopaedic Clinical Research.
