Research Summary

Breast cancer during pregnancy; specifically epidemiologic studies of the interaction of pregnancy and breast cancer. Studies of a variety of cancers using the National Cancer Database. I currently chair the Upper Gastrointestinal (Gastric) Subcommittee of the NCDB and direct studies through this entity. Advisory to NASA for health care issues related to long duration missions beyond Earth orbit through the Institute of Medicine.
