The Emergency Medical Services Learning Resources Center (EMSLRC) operates within The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa USA. The mission of the EMSLRC is to provide top quality educational programs for all members of the emergency medical services team. Whether you are a physician or nurse searching for continuing education, or you seek initial training as a Paramedic, EMT or EMD, the EMSLRC invites you to explore the many programs they offer.
The EMSLRC is an accredited paramedic training center, recognized as meeting the educational standards deemed necessary for the EMS profession by CAAHEP, (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs), and the State of Iowa Department of Public Health, Bureau of EMS. EMT-Basic and Paramedic training programs are approved for U.S. Veterans Administration educational benefits.
