Recreation Department

The Recreation Department at the Center for Disabilities and Development works with individuals and families to help them develop, and meet, their recreation and leisure goals. To do this we talk with you about your:

• Recreation interests
• Knowledge of leisure opportunities
• Use of free time and resources
• Social skills
• Family leisure activities

We offer consultation, evaluation, and recreation services. We can provide information about recreational adaptations, community resources and equipment, and material and vendor resources.

On the Inpatient Unit, we provide recreation therapy, leisure education, and recreation activities.

Through the Recreation Station (open weekdays), we also provide supervised play for the children of families who have appointments here.
