Occupational Therapy Department

The OT Department at CDD provides evaluation, treatment, and recommendations related to the activities of daily living, such as:

• Eating and dressing
• Feeding and management of dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
• The development of upper extremity, fine motor, visual-perceptional, and sensory motor skills
• Assistive technology such as wheelchairs, seating, switches, and computer access
• Selection and fabrication of a variety of hand splints
