The OT Department at CDD provides evaluation, treatment,
and recommendations related to the activities of daily living, such as:
- Eating and dressing
- Feeding and management of dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
- The development of upper extremity, fine motor, visual-perceptional,
and sensory motor skills
- Assistive technology such as wheelchairs, seating, switches, and computer
access
- Selection and fabrication of a variety of hand splints
