Accomodations
Hotel reservations will be secured by the Biosciences Program.
February - applicants will be guests at the Sheraton Hotel in Iowa City.
March - applicants will be guests at the Sheraton Hotel in Iowa City.
Travel Arrangements
Air and ground transportation will be paid for by the Biosciences Program.
Air Travel
Air travel will be coordinated by the Biosciences Program.
Flights will arrive at the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This airport is a 20-minute drive from Iowa City.
An airport shuttle will be coordinated to take you from the airport to Iowa City.
Applicants arriving by air will be met upon arrival in the baggage claim area by the Airport Shuttle Service.
Return transportation from the hotel to the airport, at the conclusion of the interview weekend, will be arranged by the program office by the same airport shuttle service.
Automobile
Applicants driving to Iowa City should check into the hotel by 6:30 p.m.
Applicants driving to Iowa City will be reimbursed at .585 per mile.
February & March -Driving Direction to the Sheraton Hotel.
Professional interview attire is suggested for Friday's interviews. All other events are informal and casual attire is acceptable.
