UI's Bariatric Surgery Program Recognized by ASMBS

Samuel, IsaacJamal, MohammadThe American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) has recently recognized the findings of Isaac Samuel, MD, Associate Professor and Mohammad Jamal, MD, Clinical Associate Professor of the UI Obesity Surgery Program for findings which identify increased benefits of weight loss surgery, including reduction of migraine headaches, reversal of infertility related to polycystic ovarian syndrome, and long term improvement of hyperlipidemia. These findings have also garnered international recognition for excellence in both surgical methodology and medical research.
