Can I get Cord blood for my research?

Cord blood, fresh or frozen, is available to researchers for use in their laboratory. The cord blood bank has obtained Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval. However, investigators are responsible for determining whether they are required to obtain IRB approval to use cord blood bank samples.
