Collection Medium:

Minimum:

10 mL of blood is required.

Rejection Criteria:

Specimen rejected in not kept warm.

Delivery Instructions:

Keep specimen warm; deliver to laboratory immediately.
Refer to "Comments" for additional information.
It is critical that the specimen be maintained at body temp
(37 degrees C). Immediately deliver to the laboratory while
keeping the specimen warm (under your arm) during transportation.
Hand deliver the specimen to laboratory staff.  If laboratory staff are 
not available, then place the specimen directly into the
37 degree incubator.

Testing Schedule:

PLEASE NOTE:  Cryoglobulin specimens must be drawn Monday - Thursday 
and before 1700 on Friday.  They cannot be drawn after 1700 on Friday 
and on Saturday and Sunday.
