Deliver to laboratory immediately after collection.

24 hrs/day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

Analytic Time:

1 hour (upon receipt in laboratory)

Comments:

Includes nucleated cell counts and an approximate of RBC's.  The 
differential is based upon the morphologic examination of a Wright's 
stained cytospin preparation.  The cells are reported as number per ul 
of total nucleated cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, 
mesothelial cells and a composite group of monocytes/histocytes/
macrophages.  These slides are retained for approximately 2 months.
