Minimum:


2 ml; light green top tube (preferred minimum)
0.6 ml microtube (absolute minimum)


Testing Schedule:


24 hrs/day, 7 days a week, including holidays.


Analytic Time:


2 hours (upon receipt in laboratory)


Reference Range:


Therapeutic <30 mg/dl

Acute toxic >40 mg/dl.
Chronic toxicity may occur with levels <40 mg/dl.
