Calculi transported in liquid (saline or formalin), wrapped in tape (adhesive tape), or embedded in wax, may delay or prevent analysis and should not be submitted. Calculi samples that are transported in liquid and received wet or bloody will be dried for 48-72 hours prior to analysis. | ||
