Students Honored at APTA Annual Meeting

Student-led fundraising efforts at the University of Iowa raised $3,000 for the Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge for the Foundation for Physical Therapy.  The University of Iowa was recognized at the Foundation Gala June 27, 2013 in Salt Lake City at the annual meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).  Physical therapists and physical therapist assistants from 80 schools across the country raised $222,008 in support of physical therapy research.  The Foundation supports the physical therapy profession's research needs in scientific research, clinical research, and health services research providing support for doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows and new investigators.  For additional information, please click here.
