Program Graduates 26 Physician Assistants

On June 15th, 26 seniors graduated from The University of Iowa Physician Assistant Program. The Commencement ceremony was held at 1:30 p.m. in the Sahai Auditorium in the Medical Education and Research Facility. Dee Dee Stafford, M.D., Ph.D. gave the commencement address and Heath Reinke gave the student address. The graduates were hooded by faculty members, Theresa Hegmann, Carol Gorney and Katie Iverson. Program Director David Asprey, Associate Director Anthony Brenneman and Interim Executive Associate Dean Hammond presented the graduates with their Certificate of Completion and Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.

The University of Iowa Physician Assistant Program has now graduated 825 PAs since its inception in 1972.
